CPD And Additional Qualifications
I am continually updating my knowledge through quality CPD courses in order to implement the latest research into my practice, and offer the latest techniques and treatments.

2010 - I completed the ITEC qualification in Human Holistic Massage allowing me to study for an ITEC Equine Sports Massage with Mary Bromiley MBE at her farm in Exmoor.
2012 - I then completed the VTCT Level 4 qualification in Human Sports Massage enabling me to address specific injuries common among horse riders and other athletes.

2016 - Equinology Advanced Equine Bodyworker course at Writtle College

I continue to regularly attend courses and seminars in the Human and Equine field as part of my on going development. It is a requirement of my registration as a Physiotherapist and I feel strongly that I should continue to update my practice and be up to date with the latest research in order to provide the best possible service.

Established In 2011 -
How My Business Has Developed

I set up the the equine business in 2011, offering sports massage for both horses and riders having graduated from Hadlow College and completed the courses above.

I have built up a very loyal client base since then and am lucky to call many of my clients friends, having worked with them and their horses for so many years.

Over the years I wanted to learn more about the riders impact on the horse and to gain more knowledge of specific injuries and performance management in people.

Big Changes In 2023

In 2019 I made the big decision and commitment to expand my knowledge and returned to education alongside running the business. I graduated in 2021 from Canterbury Christ Church University with a 1:1 BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.

Having graduated, I worked part time in the NHS in a rotational post working in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Musculoskeletal Outpatients, in order to gain as much "on the job" experience as possible.
I then decided it was time to set up a private Physiotherapy practice, so I re-branded and split the business to better reflect my qualifications and services offered and launched;

Most recently I have invested in Low Level Laser (Light) Therapy (LLLT) equipment and added this to the list of treatments that I am able to offer to both Equine and Human clients.

LLLT offers a drug free alternative to reducing inflammation, speeding up healing times and improving the quality of new tissue repair as well as providing an analgesic (pain killing) effect.
